Justin Graves - Guitar and Lead Vocals
Justin Graves was called into music ministry at the age of 16. He has followed this calling obediently. Justin loves to write and sing songs, inspired by God and based on his personal life, that touch people's hearts and lead them to a gentle and passion-filled or jump up and down with praise, moment with God.
The Justin Graves Band, formerly The Brown Band, was started over 7 years ago and consists of guitar, bass and drums. Justin Graves is the front man for the band and is a wonderful singer/songwriter. The bands music consists of original and cover tunes… some old and some new. Justin stays very current with praise and worship, but also loves to bring back some of the older contemporary tunes as well as hymns and put a little “Justin twist” on them.
Justin Graves is passionate about leading worship, but also about being real to those he leads in worship. He loves to spend time off stage with those he leads in worship so that they know him as a regular guy being obedient to where God has called him. He has no desire to be a rock star, but rather to be able to continue traveling and leading worship for those who ask.
Michelle, his wife, is the perfect compliment to the calling on his life. She is the organized, detail person. Together they are a team. They are thankful for the gifts they have been given and the trust God has in them to do this wonderfully fulfilling and exciting job. Together with their daughter, Gabi and amazing band guys...they are the Justin Graves Band!
Chad Fisher - Bass and BGV's
I grew up in San Antonio, Tx. and have been playing bass since I was 12. I enjoy playing a lot. I've played with lots of different bands in and around the San Antonio area. I work as a Youth Minister at a church in New Braunfels. I have always enjoyed working with youth and preteens, showing and teaching them about the love that God has for them and how He works and moves in the lives of those who trust in Him! The Justin Graves Band's focus is also that and I have seen God use this band and look forward to seeing Him do GREAT things in the future!!
Other interests:
I like working on cars motorcycles pretty much anything that has wheels and a motor!
Charlie Haley - Drums and BGV's
Well, where do I begin? I lived in the Chicago area for my whole life up until about 3 months ago. I moved to San Antonio to be a part of a church plant as a worship leader. It's been a crazy adventure so far, but God has truly shown me how faithful He is. In Chicago I lead worship for 5 different youthgroups on a rotating schedule, but really felt God calling me for something different. Right now I lead worship for 3rd-6th graders at a church on the north side of San Antonio and it's amazing. I guess I've been playing music my whole life (my mom would say I have music in my bones), but I really didn't start playing the drums until about 4 years ago. It's been amazing to be here in San Antonio meeting new people, especially Justin, Michelle, Gabi, and Chad. Playing with the Justin Graves band is not only amazing, but a true answer to prayer.
